The story of Barry Burton after the Spencer mansion incident .

 After the events of the Spencer mansion incident in the first Resident Evil game , the remaining alpha team members Chris - Jill and Barry go back to Raccoon City to explain what occurred after being ignored by the police chief Brian Irons ; Chris Redfield goes off to investigate the Umbrella lab in Europe town city and track all the members of Umbrella project this is crazy mission for Chris and the others around Raccoon City .

Jill stays behind and ends up being in the middle of the whole Raccoon City zombie outbreak but as for Barry Burton , we don't find out what happened to him before wrecking city became Umbrellas next target i think he went back to his own city because his family still living there also he miss them so much after that incredible discover .

Now we don't get to see what Barry went off to do in the video games not until Resident Evil Gaiden and Revelations 2 came out and making a cameo appearance in Resident Evil 5 but luckily in the comic books of Resident Evil , we are shown just what happened next a week has passed since the Spencer mansion incident , Barry has been having trouble dealing with a traumatic experience , he had at the Spencer mansion so bad that he's actually considered seeing a psychiatrist as he walks into the building , he passes by an old man and for a second he thought it was a zombie an example of why he needs to speak to a psychiatrist but Barry believes that a quick visit with a shrink should be enough to get rid of those paranoiac memories , Barry sees the doctor but as soon as he walks into the office the doctor receives an urgent message as priority one or alert immediate while on the phone the doctor says hot zone leak subjects have escaped and right away he cancels their appointment and leaves the office as he is already needed so Barry getting suspicious of all that .

Barry is left wondering what's going on ! but as soon as the doctor leaves a room , Barry hears a loud scream outside the room easy he checks to see what happened and it turns out that the building is in his full of zombies , the doctor got his throat torn out as soon as Barry run out of the room luckily for Barry he's always carrying a gun around and he easily disposes of a zombie and also he is mercenary fighter ready at any time and any situation .

Barry picks up an access key card that the psychiatrist Dr. L'engle had , he takes it just in case he needs it Barry than runs off to the lobby of the building and finds out that the building is in fact infested with zombies to many to the point that he can't take them all down with his handgun but since Barry isn't sure whether they're coming from inside the building , he decides to find a way to seal the entrance doors of the building and hope of not letting the infection spread all over the city so Barry heads off to find the basement of the building in order to trip the breaker on the electronic lock to seal the doors shut as , he heads off to use the elevator , Barry runs into an injured civilian his intestines are ripped wide open but he's still barely alive , he tells Barry that he needs to kill them all before they get outside letting us know that they are coming from inside the building and not from outside as we all know that Raccoon City is inevitably going to become infested with zombies and strange creatures and animals infected so that hasn't occurred yet .

Then Barry let's the man know that he has some experience dealing with these kinds of creeps and he triggers the electronic locks and manages to trap them inside the building .

Now the next step is to get rid of them , the injured man let's Barry know that the building they're in actually has bomb parts scattered around the building which is very odd but the reason why is because there's a secret lab downstairs from where they're at and the bomb would be needed to destroy all the evidence in case of emergency and he assumes that Barry already knows us because he's holding the lab key-card this means that Dr .L'engle already knew about the secret lab made by Umbrella and participate there secretly .

Barry thanks the man for the info and then shooting him and putting him out of his misery for two reasons , 1 one : he's not sure if that man was mixed up in all that and 2 two : nobody deserves to become a zombie ; Barry then heads off to find that three pieces needed to make that bomb and destroy the building with them before it's late for all .

He uses the key-card to access the secret lab and we see that the lab has been attacked and no one is alive in it but also as soon as Barry investigates the lab , he is greeted by a Tyrant , Barry quickly turns around and runs into what appears to be a storage closet .

The Tyrant starts ripping though the door and it looks as if Barry is about to bite the dust but to his luck he finds an emergency hatchet and uses it to cut though the Tyrants arm , he manages to cut the Tyrants arm off and run right past him while the Tyrant is injured , he also finds the first piece needed to build a bomb and now he can quickly leave the lab but before he manages to do so the Tyrant grabs Barry by his leg and starts pulling him closer to it as Barry struggles to resist called by the Tyrant , he finds a science tube filled with the green liquid and tosses it at the Tyrants face in hopes of injuring it to a surprise it does enter the Tyrant and this gives him the opportunity to get away from the tyrant and escape the lab before it's to late so he need to rescue himself quickly without losing time .

On his way out he finds another key and Barry mentions that one thing he's learned his past experience is to take every key that he can find , Barry then uses the elevator to get to the third floor , it turns out to be a postal center and it also ends up being flooded with zombies but enough for Barry to take them all down and find the next piece needed to build that bomb , honestly it's so insane plan but as we know Barry he never give up easily .

Barry takes down a zombie holding a lock key and after using the key to the locker , he finds a second piece of the bomb along with a shotgun , the next location he needs to check out is the sub-basement of the building where they keep the trash , he quickly finds a third piece and mentions that he's surprised that he didn't have to fight anyone to get his hands on it but of course he spoke to soon and he starts hearing loud seeking noises coming from the dumpsters next to him , giant cockroaches start crawling out and they all go after Barry as he tries to fight them off , they jump all over him and injure his right leg but he manages to get rid of him before he can leave he has to take care of his wounds so they don't slow him down ; Barry then takes the elevator to the top floor of the building .

He puts the bomb pieces together giving him five minutes before it goes off there , he puts the bomb in the elevator and sets it to go to the bottom floor while he tries to find a way out it then turns out that the rooftop is a penthouse littered with zombies and it's not a way out but if he's gonna go down then he's going down blazing , he takes down as many zombies as he can and decides to jump off the building before the bomb detonates as he jumps goes off causing an explosion large enough to kill every zombie in that building and as for Barry his luck did not run out as it turns out that very survived by falling on a swimming pool at the rooftop of another building debris starts falling down on the building but Barry just walks towards that building's elevator for one last ride with no more zombies to worry about .

This is where the story ends we're not shown whether the rest of the city was left unharmed for the meantime but what we do know is that Barry did end up surviving because other than the fact that he's a main character in the Resident Evil Revelations 2 there is a the secret ending in the game Resident Evil 3 nemesis where it turns out that the pilot that rescued Jill and Carlos was actually Barry Burton himself , inside the helicopter we can see his face and Jill suddenly after she heard his voice she says it's you she was surprised by seeing Barry again rescuing her and Carlos just few minutes before the destruction of the city named Raccoon City that was amazing from him a brave guy always in the right time in the right moment for saving his own comrades mercenaries i love that moment .

And there's also his epilogue that can be viewed as an extra feature for the game in his epilogue it reads Barry Burton looks at his young daughters and says " i'm sorry but comrades are waiting for me ", he knows that he must repay his teammates for forgiving his betrayal , even if that means leaving his family for now his wife tries to hide her fear so she smiles as usually and says don't worry we'll be okay so emotional moment .

Barry Burton story in the comic book wasn't half bad things got straight to the point but it works it kind of catches you off-guard but one thing i did like a side from the fact that this story concentrates on Barry Burton is that just like in the original games , you have to pick up key cards and pieces that need to be put together in order to solve a puzzle or progress through the game and in the comic book it gives us the same classic obstacles which is great the story did in fact turn out to be better than expected for us as fun .
